great places to visit mornington peninsula things to doPhoto By Loraine @crazy_about_the_view

We love the Mornington Peninsula and the many incredible views you can find. We approached a local photographer, Loraine, from @crazy_about_the_view, to walk with her through what and where she loves about the Peninsula! Take a look below!

Hi my name is Loraine, I am the person behind @crazy_about_the_view on Instagram.

I moved to the beautiful Mornington Peninsula 6 years ago from a busy suburb in Melbourne. It
was hard at first but believe me I will never go back to living in the city.

I wasn’t much of a walker before moving to the beach side. I have always loved photography so I
decided to start walking with my camera phone in hand and set up an Instagram page for my
family and friends to follow about the crazy views on my walks. My Instagram page of little
square photos and videos holds what makes me happy and why I love where I live.

Walking the seaside everyday I am lucky enough to see how the view at the same place changes
in so many wonderful ways.

Some of Loraine’s favourite views and locations..

Exploring the surrounding locations for walks like the Millionaires Walk, Point Nepean National
Park, Cape Schanck, Bushrangers Bay, Two Bay, Arthurs Seat, Kings Falls, Balcombe Creek Estuary
and the many beautiful beaches.

The Mornington Peninsula has so many places to walk and take in the crazy views. You can do short
easy walks or long hard walks. There are so many walking tracks to follow. So many landmarks like
my favourite the Rosebud Pier, Dromana Pier, Rye Pier, Flinders Pier, Mornington Pier, and Portsea
Pier just to name a few. Then there is the gorgeous McCrea Lighthouse and Cape Schanck
Lighthouse
